UNA BEHDI

Una Behdi is a multi-ethnic, non-binary, interdisciplinary folk artist and Houston native. Their performance art and social sculptures explore the relationship between artist and audience, catharsis, and collective grief through lore, symbolism, and the shared experience. "Pink-Eyed White" is an action art performance by Una Behdi, deeply rooted in subconscious world building and lucidity. The piece explores the dynamic interplay between body, nature, and spirit--bridging dreams and waking life under the weight of commodification and ecological collapse. What is breathing? What is release? What is rest? What is a dream?

EDEN BALSANO

Meet Eden Balsano, an incredible classically trained flautist, who we tricked into performing at the Happening using the glitz and glam of the Orange Show (and cash). She took the bait and has cooked up a set that will combine her world class skill with visual art and the power of human connection.

ALICIA HODGES

Alicia and a handful of other students from UH were invited to help us create the interior of our Happening House for Happoween last October. They all did an incredible job and were told, 'You are now part of the Happening community! The door is open to you -- let us know any time you've got ideas and need a place to make them come to life." Alicia has taken us up on this offer and will be bringing their piece "Dear Mr. Walrus" to the stage this Friday as their Orange Show debut.

GLANCING

Glancing is Elli Gradney, Ryan Holloway, and Sareen patel exploring a broad range of electronic music genres, including dark wave, trip-hop, house, and IDM to create immersive, fluid sets. When asked to describe it in one word, Ryan answered 'spaghetti' ... and there's only one way to truly find out what that means.
